Knowledge eludes the lost child

Cold blue lips shiver, as she walks among the silhouetted mysterious trees.
In a clearing beyond, the child arches her back,
revealing ivory translucent skin to the moon.
She stands alone , singing mournfully to herself
The artist’s daughter,
exposed to wild laughter and hysterical tears in the same moment.
Always questioning if she belonged,
A pilgrim among the blurred language and tempting smirks
A survivor through the ache to be loved.

I remember every sunset, I remember every word you siad, We were never going to say goodbye.
